Through Proclamation No. 1333, President Rodrigo Duterte declared March 18, 2022 until March 17, 2023 the Centenary Year of the Accountancy Profession in the Philippines. The Board of Accountancy, under the Professional Regulation Commission, will lead the year-long celebration. This is to commemorate the importance of the accountancy profession in the Philippines, which has promoted and sustained the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. The profession has also produced thousands of CPAs of invaluable integrity and service, who have contributed immensely to the development of our nation, especially in the fields of business, finance, and trade.
